Hello there! I'll be collecting my occasional writings here. Most of it is about Star Wars, and quite often it's about might-have-beens and fanciful imaginings. Naturally, everything I post here is just my opinion and should be taken as such.

ReplyDeleteHey Earl! It's all pretty unfortunate, but what's done is done. Perhaps for the best. A work buddy who used to post on AH.com back in the college days logged in to see if there was any official reasoning for this nonsense. Well. Turns out the admin has no trouble lying when it suits him. Apparantly I wrote him a "rant". Interesting way to describe a six-sentence message, two of which were apologies for the inconvenience.

ReplyDeleteWhat happens, happens. I enjoyed my time on the site because of the other members & the good conversations. But it seems the admin and his team insist on driving people away as soon as anyone questions their decisions (basically: do that once, and you're clearly marked for "ban as soon as we can get away with it"). Okay then. I can live without them. It's just a shame about the interaction with some fun, intelligent people. I think I'll take Earl's advice and sign up for spacebattles to post some fan-related content.

ReplyDeleteLet's be real: this never really had anything to do with that conversation at all. This goes back to the fact that I questioned a mod's judgement one time. Since then, said mod's been actively looking for an excuse. I guess he found it. And I guess Ian always sides with his cronies.
